“Big Mads” Flatbread
A burly baker who fought in the Blood Bond Tournament and fell in the first round — remembered for his massive bread paddle and fearless charges.
Appearance
Massive man with flour-dusted clothes and hands like ham hocks. Carried an oversized baker’s peel (bread paddle) that he wielded like a club. His apron was stained with years of work at the ovens.
The Tournament
Big Mads fought in Round 1 of the Blood Bond Tournament. He was aggressive and strong, using his size and his paddle to push opponents toward the Edge.
Duncan’s boomerang caught him with a critical hit to the face early in the fight. Despite the injury, Big Mads continued fighting until he finally collapsed — taking Duncan down with him in his fall.

In Death
Big Mads died doing what he came to do: fighting for a chance to become an Edgerunner. The arena claimed him, but he took an opponent with him.
His bakery closed the day after the tournament. Some say out of respect. Others say because no one could match his bread.
